That said, she is lacking the sort of thrown-off quality of their first meeting or tenseness she'd been under when making that post of hers a week and a half ago. Once she's got something in mind, it's hard for her to shake. ]

I talked to Miles not long after the Snake attacked... he said he ran into you - that you had a couple of swords, then.

Okay, Noah just mostly just finds Kallie intimidating. ]

They also become a javelin, but uh, I broke a lamp, so...

[ GETTING OFF TRACK HERE ] What about them?

But well, at least that answers her next question being about whether they were both Echoed back or not... although she has to pause for a few seconds after the know-how and javelin comments. One has to wonder how she keeps being thrown off by that kind of thing even now, but there you go. ]

[ He's assuming she means she has swords, in which case she just got 10x cooler. And Noah already though she was cool. ]

[ It's... it's just one sword, but wait til he sees that it's a gun too (...once she figures that part out, anyway). And that she can make it appear out of thin air (...with feathery special effects).

On that note, she pauses as she tries to come up with a sufficient answer. ]

[ Oh, smooth. Fortunately, Kallie is so used to receiving intentional stupid and/or flirty comments that it just bounces right off the impenetrable wall of her indifference with little more than a quiet clearing of her throat. ]

... Right, well, I'm sure that can be arranged.

[ Just as long as one of them doesn't get arrested or anything. That would probably kind of ruin her day a bit. ]
